IES, the Italian leader for the development, manufacturing and sales of photoelectric sensors, safety devices and temperature controllers, has changed its name to Datasensor SpA, beginning from January 2001. The new name is also the new product brand, replacing 'Datalogic Sensor & More'.
The new Datasensor name perserves the 'Data' root associating the company with its origins (Datalogic) and the word 'Sensor', that highlights the area of specialisation. The product coding and documentation, as well as the organisation, management and strategies, remain unchanged, as they indicate the part-attainment of preset goals.
